- EWTN - The Holy Season of Advent - The calendar is for the year 2000 Advent season (unless it is updated in the next few weeks), but much of the material on these beautifully crafted pages can be useful. There is a reflection, a prayer and a suggested action for each day of Advent. Also of interest is the Blessing Rituals For Advent page. It contains the Order for the Blessing of an Advent Wreath, a Manger Scene,and a Christmas Tree taken from the Catholic Book of Blessings. The shorter versions of these blessings is also included.
