Conan (Conan Meriadoc of Armorica (Brittany), during a visit at the court Dionotus (Donaut of Cornwall), falls in love with the king's beautiful daugther, Ursula. Ursula relates to her parents the vision she has had. A divine voice has told her to accept the marriage proposal and to bring with her 11,000 virgins to the kingdom of Aggripinus.
