Praying woman

     The Lord's Prayer is obviously a prayer. As such it is meant to be said. But it is also the Word of God. When we say the Lord's Prayer we should therefore not only say the words, but listen to them. As we speak the words we speak to our Father, but the Father also speaks His Word to us. Take time to listen to each part of the prayer, and write down what comes to mind, what the Father might be saying to you.

Our Father,

who art in Heaven,

hallowed be thy name;

Thy kingdom come;

Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
